By submitting this application, you acknowledge and agree to the following: 1. This is an application only. Participation is not guaranteed and is subject to programming, curation, and availability. 2. Johannesburg Pride does not pay deposits or upfront fees. All payments (if agreed upon) are made within 7 days after the event. 3. Artists are not permitted to: - Seek sponsorship or brand affiliations in the name of Johannesburg Pride or Pride of Africa - Promote or cross-market any unaffiliated events or organizations using this appearance 4. No alcohol is allowed on stage. (We cannot risk equipment damage due to spillage) - Only water will be provided for performers during performance. - Any additional refreshments must be consumed in designated areas (e.g. VIP or backstage). 5. Pride does not take responsibility for any friends, family, or guests the performer may bring. 6. Artists must be on-site at least 1 hour before their set time and must adhere to the run-of-show and production brief. 7. If applicable, tech riders must be submitted with your application or emailed to [email protected] before confirmation. 8. If selected, all public announcements, branding, and media involving your name must be approved by Pride's comms team. 9. Johannesburg Pride is a safe space – hate speech, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate removal and blacklisting from future events.
